Creative Visualization is written by Shakti Gawain and was initially published in 1978. The book falls under Personal development or Self-help genre if you want to buy it at a bookstore. At the time of this writing, it is available both in hard-copy and digital format which can be found and purchased both on Amazon and Shakti's personal website. Compared to other books in similar categories, it's a relatively short book with 194 pages. Also, you could buy and download the audio version of this book. As for the book cover, there are many variations of this book. I personally own the one with a sun shape in the background.
I first stumbled across this beyond incredible book when I was in my teens. "Creative Visualization" was the first book that introduced me to Manifestation through Imagination. It changed my whole outlook on life and creation. Ever since I read this book, I no longer believe in fate or pre-planned destiny. The book is written on the basis of the idea that we are the creator of the Universe at the collective level and co-creators of our personal lives at the individual level. As the creators, we're constantly utilizing the power of our mind to create things, ideas, and circumstances that are our true desires. If you are not convinced that you are the one who created the very life you are living in the first place, then this book might not be for you. However, if you keep your mind and heart open enough, Shakti explains to you how you are creating your experiences right now. If read and digested slowly, the book will help you create the life you always dreamed of. Using her extremely gentle tone both in her writing and the audio book, she walks you through simple visualization exercises that you can practice at your own pace in order to manifest whatever you want.
Over the past several years, I have re-read the book so many times. It has such a positive vibe that immediately transforms my thoughts . This is the book that I would grab and read every time I needed inspiration to draw something new into my life. When I read the book, it feels as though myself and Shakti are having a one-on-one session discussing the universal laws. Pretty cool, huh!!! My favorite part of the book is "Part 3: Meditations and Affirmations" . Practicing its techniques over and over again for more than a decade, I've seen miraculous results from manifesting as little as a phone call to as big as healing my body. Putting into practice the teachings of the book, I've created myself a sanctuary that is my secret imaginary place where I mentally go to for manifestation, attraction, and problem solving purposes. Also, I've learned how to connect to my inner guidance system for inspirations and advice whenever I work on a project. I like how short and straightforward the chapters are. I think, Shakti delivers her teachings in the easiest way possible. The good thing about this book is that you don't have to finish it until you master Creative Visualization. You can kick it off right at the beginning and sure enough the techniques work.
It is a valuable gift for friends and family whilst you can keep yourself a copy of the book for your lifetime. You can read it as many times as you want and still be overwhelmed by its significance. I encourage you to read this book if you haven't already. Hope you love it as much as I do!
